18.0V 2.0Ah battery solid green light on charger, but is not
It will start with the red blinking light for a few seconds and then switch off with the green light going solid. I have measured the voltage across the terminals and its reading 15.8V which seems low but not low enough to initiate a charge. Is there anyway I can jump start the battery for it to get registered by the charger?

An update re this battery: I eventually called the AA. He did all the tests: alternator all fine, nothing draining the battery, was JUST the battery. Thank heavens for that. I pointed out the "still green" indicator, and he said "don''t pay any attention to that. I bought a new one, installed it, now all fine again. Thanks for all responses.:d Reevo
